What is Quad, and what is it for?
Quad helps students find what is on at their school and turn going to things into people they see again. Events are the way in. The point is that students meet people and keep meeting them.
How custom is it?
Quad is a set of features we already run, and we can provide those quickly under your name: events from your public listings, weekly groups, class communities, plans, and practical campus information. If you want something specific to your campus, we are open to building it. Tell us what you are trying to achieve and we will say what is quick and what is new work.
Will it carry our name, and is our data kept separate?
Yes. Each school gets its own app with its own name, look and content. Students, groups and messages for one school are separate from every other school by design.
Do you need access to our student systems?
No. Students sign up themselves and choose their own classes and interests. Nothing is pulled from your records to start.
How do you handle privacy and safety?
Students are only discoverable if they choose to be, and what they RSVP to and rate is private to them. Conversations happen in groups of three or more, not one to one. There are no view counts or follower counts, and students can block and report. Your staff get an admin view for your school's app. Data is stored in Canada.
